Negohot: Fall in Love with the Community, Then Join It

The town of Negohot is growing and inviting new residents to join through the Mitzpe Lachish project by Harei Zahav

The Mitzpe Lachish project in Negohot, developed by Harei Zahav, is located just 25 minutes from Kiryat Gat and 30 minutes from Be’er Sheva. It is now in its final stage of sales. During this period, the project offers a unique promotion—prices are not linked to the Construction Input Index.

The project consists of 44 units, over two-thirds of which have already been sold. It offers a variety of homes suitable for young couples and large families alike, all with front-row views of the scenic surroundings. This growing settlement places a strong emphasis on education and community, providing a nurturing environment for families to thrive.

Shirley Ohana, the project’s sales manager and a resident of Negohot, tells us: "People who are interested come for a tour, sit down with families for coffee or dinner, and simply fall in love and decide to join."

Racheli Sarusi, who purchased a home in the project, explains why she chose it: "We came to the town of Negohot because we wanted to find a place to build a home and settle down. There’s an amazing sense of community here, everything we need for our kids and for ourselves. The people here are wonderful—they want to integrate us at our own pace and in our own way. There’s a sense of simplicity, calm, and fresh air that lets you live in a pleasant and fulfilling way."

"We chose to live here and would be happy to see more people who want to grow and develop alongside us," she adds.

Tamar Benyamin, another buyer in the project, shares her experience: "When we came for the interview and absorption process, we were impressed by the people. Something about it charmed us, and we felt this was our place."

Nehorai Darin, a resident of Negohot, highlights the unique aspects of the town: "From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms. Raising kids here is incredible. The wide-open spaces have been great for them—they’ve quickly made friends and feel free to roam. Employment opportunities are excellent since we’re close to both Kiryat Gat and Be’er Sheva. There’s no traffic here, which is fantastic. Plus, the entire central region is just an hour away."

Shaked Ben Yishai, another resident, adds: "We moved here from Ashkelon four years ago because we fell in love with the place and the people. The people here are warm, welcoming, and open. Every initiative is embraced with enthusiasm."

Another resident, Einav Cohen, concludes: "This is a young, Torah-centered settlement where settlement of the Land of Israel is a significant value. People come here not just for the real estate but for the ideology."
